I graduated from Loma Linda University in 1993 with a degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and received my license in 1999 (MFT 36140). I later went on to obtain licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC 1211). My clinical focus is on personal growth, spiritual questioning and definition, managing anxiety and depression, career development, and premarital and couples therapy. I also have specialized knowledge in the area of gifted development, including challenges of perfectionism, asynchronous development, multipotentiality, and managing emotional intensity and sensitivity. I draw from many treatment modalities, depending on the needs of the client, but generally utilize a family systems framework, coupled with narrative, solution-focused, and experiential approaches. I help my clients align their lives with their personal values, with an approach that is collaborative, hopeful, and nonjudgmental.
